The Home Safety Council (HSC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing information on the prevention of home-related injuries. Their website, www.homesafetycouncil.org, provides numerous recourses on how to ensure home safety including a “Hands on Home Safety” guide to preventing injuries in the home. Their website also has special sections for older adults, medication safety, and falls prevention as well as personalized safety checklists.
